In this blog I’ll be showcasing some of the tips and tricks I’ve learned from business school, as well as my 6 years of artrepreneur experience.
I will also be posting art tutorials to bolster your skills and provide a little creative break from the business side (I find that necessary in order not to burnout while learning)
Some of the topics I'll be covering are:

Sometimes as an artist it’s hard to know where to start with the business side of things. We are so connected to our right brain ways of thinking; the creative side flows freely, but when tasked with the more logical, number focused left side things get daunting. That might not be the case for everyone, and if it isn’t, I applaud you! For me, the business side was hard to grasp and put into practice. I decided to get a marketing BBA to counteract that.
It's hard not to want to spend all of our time on creating the art itself, but adopting the 80/20 rule will jumpstart your success! 80% of your time on the business and marketing, and 20% on creating.
For me at least, it was difficult to put the 80/20 rule into practice. I love the creative process of making art, but the business side of things just isn't as fun. Holding onto that mindset will hold you back and hurt your chances of success. By investing time and energy into marketing, you're investing in your future and helping to make your artrepreneur goals a reality.

I am no stranger to the fixed mindset; I can get down on myself and wonder if things will ever get better. I realized the fixed mindset was one of the things holding me back; a self-fulfilling prophecy if you will. Once I adopted a success/growth mindset, things started to fall into place. A success mindset is one where you believe you can achieve your dreams and will work hard to do so.
Setting goals is a great way to motivate yourself and put your efforts into growth. I would suggest to starting with small obtainable goals that work towards your larger business goals. Starting out small makes everything seem less daunting, and the empowerment you'll get from achieving those goals helps catapult your mindset into growth mode!
Try not to be discouraged by setbacks or failures, instead try to view them as learning experiences. Everyone has them, but successful people learn from them, and push passed.

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
